Justice for St Bernards

Stacy Ann Rose was arrested in mid-March 2025 on felony animal abuse charges. The complete story is on the WLOS news channel website. https://wlos.com/news/local/henderson-county-dogs-seized-dead-poor-living-conditions-deemed-deplorable-saint-bernard-horse-shoe-sheriffs-office-animal-services. Stella’s Sanctuary founder Lisa Wiggins immediately took the first 3 St Bernards into her rescue. She has started a petition to make sure that justice is served to the woman that allowed these atrocities to happen. And to make sure that she doesn’t get the 18 surviving St Bernards back! Imagine living in filthy conditions such as being covered in feces including it being matted in your hair. Imagine having nowhere else to walk but a floor covered in your waste. Imagine having no access to food and water and when it was brought to you, it was just enough for you to survive but never feel healthy. Imagine being left outside in weather conditions so severe that you have frostbite damage on your feet. Imagine being locked in a shed with no sunlight, and losing all hope of a good life while you are left to stare into darkness. Lastly, imagine your life having such little meaning to someone that you are found decomposing in a trash bag. That is the reality of the dogs we are striving to bring justice too. Saint bernads were found living in the most unfathomable situation. While 7 of them were found in trash bags. The name behind this? Stacy Ann Rose. A proclaimed breeder who treated these babies like “family”. Although she has been charged, she has been released on bail. I ask that you all take the time to ensure justice is met. While, Stacy fights to get these pups back in her care, we are fighting harder to ensure they never face the cruelty of her again. We believe that she should never own another animal, and I hope you do too. The life that they lived, and the life that was taken from them should not go unnoticed. In a world where you can be anything, I ask that you choose to be the voice for those who don’t have one. Changes need to be made, and justice needs to be served, and it begins with you. I would like to include a special thank you to Lisa Wiggins. Lisa, you made sure these dogs experienced the most unconditional love and never once looked away despite how sickening this case is. Thank you for fighting for the life that belongs to them, we stand with you. UPDATE: We could not be happier to inform you that all of the Saint Bernards are no longer in Mrs. Rose’s custody!! They have been placed in rescues, fosters, and even their forever homes. They can finally start healing and learn the true meaning of unconditional love. But the fight doesn’t stop here. We still want justice for these innocent lives.
